This searchtool allows a user to submit a single national query to obtain information about a sexoffender listed by name. Users can also search for offenders living in their geographical area. In 2008, the Michigan Legislature permitted removal of offender's information from OTIS after three years had elapsed from the discharge date. Records include the offender’s full name, MDOC identification number, date of birth, offense classification, sentencing details, and current facility location.
